Olga Carl House

? Private family graveside services for Olga Carl House, 83, Fayetteville, will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Mrs. House died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at her home.

She was born July 25, 1920, in Lawrence, Kan., the daughter of Owen and Elsa (Barteldes) Carl. She graduated from Kansas University, where she was a music major and member of Alpha Omicron Pi and Mu Phi Epsilon sororities. She moved to Fayetteville in 1957 from Clinton, Ark.

Mrs. House taught piano. She formed the Brownie and Girl Scout troops in Clinton, Ark.

Her husband, William House, died earlier.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Nail, Fayetteville; three sons, Jim House, Jerry House, both of Fayetteville, and Jeff House, Springdale, Ark.; two sisters, Erna Gilliam, Lawrence, and Rita Orr, Arvada, Colo.; a brother, Rudy Carl, Fish Creek, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
