Charles Willer

? Private services for Charles Willer, 77, Pensacola, have been conducted in Pensacola.

Mr. Willer died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, after an extended illness. He was cremated.

He was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Emporia, Kan., the son of Max and Elizabeth (Simrock) Willer. He attended Liberty Memorial High School in Lawrence, Kan.

Mr. Willer joined the Merchant Marines during World War II and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a commercial masonry contractor in Lawrence for 40 years.

He was a member of Lawrence Masonic Lodge No. 6, Scottish Rite Bodies, Abdallah Shrine Temple of Overland Park, Kan., Royal Order of Jesters and Dorsey-Liberty Post No. 14 of the American Legion, Lawrence.

His wife of 55 years, Dorothy Carson, survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Paula Willer Beauchamp, Pensacola; and three granddaughters.
