Philip Wizer

SUN CITY, ARIZ. ? Services for Philip Wizer, 91, Sun City, are pending and will be announced by Sunland Mortuary in Sun City.

Mr. Wizer died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Sun City.

He was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Lecompton, the son of Benjamin and Sarah (Moore) Wizer. He graduated from Washburn University in 1932.

He worked as an engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 42 years.

Survivors include a wife, Margaret (Madden) Wizer; two sons, Phil Jr. and Robert; two daughters, Sondra Harrison and Catherine Farrell; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The family suggests memorials to Lecompton Historical Society or Lecompton United Methodist Church, sent in care of the mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
