Who is next?
To the editor:
I agree with Mike Hoeflich’s recent commentary (“Wagle’s action insult to fairness”) that Sen. Susan Wagle’s crusade against Professor Dennis Dailey is about much more than academic freedom. Her use of power violates the rule of law and fair play. Her behavior is that of a bully. As Professor Hoeflich succinctly asked, “If (elected officials) can violate individuals’ basic rights guaranteed under our laws, then how can we trust them to govern?” Who will be the next victim?
