Thitsara and Carl Holden

Thitsara Sidney Chansaviang, Lawrence, and Carl John Holden, Topeka, were married May 25, 2002, at Lawrence Bible Chapel in Lawrence with Larry Sherraden and Rex Bloom officiating. Tim Newcome gave the opening prayer.

The bride is the daughter of Bounleaum and Dora Chansaviang, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Harold and Linda Holden, Topeka.

Maid of honor was Fanta Chansaviang. Best man was Davis Holden. Bridesmaids were Billie Renee Cummings, Shannon Harvey and Sarah Nadvornik. Groomsmen were Jay Holden, Daniel Billen and Danny Chavez. Ushers were Luke Brosius, Dave Everhart, Doug Everhart, Tim Gallagher, Gary Newcome and Tim O’Bryne.

Andrew Helt was ringbearer. Sarah Bradshaw, Hannah Hain and Joanna Hain were flowergirls. Candlelighters were Cheryl Knapp and Paula Nelson. Dr. Melinda Smashey was pianist. Gabrielle Harvey was violinist. Personal attendants were Rosa Billen, Charlene DuMortier, Lydia Gallagher and Jessica Smythe. Brenda Reungrith was stylist. Brian Knapp was photographer. Dean Jordan was videographer. Guestbook attendants were Andrea Chansaviang, Lydia Oelschlaeger, Bethany Schonberg and Elizabeth Helwig.

Gift attendants were Laura Windheuser, Leah Nelson, Alicia Jamison, Melissa Carey and Anna Drewry. Program attendants were Rosa Billen, Jamie Chavez, Jenny Peters and Tanya Anderson.

A reception took place under tents on the Lawrence Bible Chapel lawn.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She received an associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker University. She is employed as a Supplier Kanban Coordinator for Honeywell International Inc.

The groom was home educated through high school. He received a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Kansas University. He is employed as a mechanical engineer with Henderson Engineers Inc.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
