Keith Dunavin

? Services for Keith Dunavin, 16, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Warren-McElwain Eudora Chapel. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.

Keith died Monday, May 19, 2003, at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., from complications of cystic fibrosis.

He was born Oct. 11, 1986, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Kenneth Calhoon and Paula Dunavin.

Keith spent most of his life in eastern Kansas, including Eudora and Kansas City, Kan. He attended Perry Middle School.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Kenneth Calhoon, Perry; two sisters, Robin Calhoon and Brooke Calhoon, both of Kansas City, Kan.; his maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Roddy and Becky Dunavin, Perry; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Oakes, Paola; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Calhoon, Kansas City, Kan.; his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Dunavin, Eudora; three-half brothers, Ryan Calhoon, Jason Calhoon and Brandon Calhoon, all of Leavenworth; a half-sister, Ashley Calhoon, Leavenworth; and two stepsisters, Ashley Pruitt and Amanda Pruitt, both of Kansas City, Kan.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive them from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
