Where the Buffalo Roam is the theme for this year’s Annual Prairie Days June 7-8 at Maxwell Wildlife Refuge, 6 miles north of Canton.

Participants are invited to step into the past with events including buffalo tours every hour, stagecoach rides, mountain-man camps and traders, early-day Kansas demonstrations, bird and wildflower walks and period arts and crafts.

Gate admission is $1. Children under 4 are free. Buffalo tours will be $5 and stagecoach rides $3.
