KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? The Kansas City T-Bones will open their season with a two-week road trip.

The Northern League’s newest team — they were the Duluth (Minn.) Dukes last year — will open May 23 at St. Paul, Minn., then travel to Joliet and Gary in Illinois and finally to Lincoln, Neb., before opening at home June 6 against Sioux City, Iowa.

The other cities in the 10-team independent league are Fargo, N.D.; Schaumburg, Ill.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Winnipeg, Canada.
