Paul W. Gabriel
Services for Paul W. Gabriel, 88, Eudora, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Gabriel died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Eudora, the son of Philip H. and Christine (Mathia) Gabriel. He graduated from Eudora High School in 1933. He was a lifelong resident of Eudora.
Mr. Gabriel was grain manager for Lawrence Farmers Coop Elevator until he retired in 1980. He had been a dairy and crop farmer. He attended Westside Nazarene Church in Olathe.
He married Jean Williamson on May 2, 1942, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Connie Snider, Olathe; two sons, Larry, Fairfax, Va., and Darrell, Troy, Mich.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Gideon’s International, sent in care of the mortuary.
