Margaret Wagner

Mrs. Wagner died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1925, the daughter of Jacob and Hazel (Peet) Sattler. She grew up in Reading and graduated from Neosho Rapids High School.

Mrs. Wagner worked for Hallmark Cards for 34 years, beginning in Emporia and transferring to Lawrence in 1963. She retired in 1990.

She married John O. Wagner on July 3, 1942. He died Feb. 9, 1994.

Survivors include a son, Jay Wagner, Lawrence; a daughter, Dale Fabriz, Lawrence; two brothers, Harold Sattler, Lawrence, and Francis Sattler, Reading; four sisters, Dorothy Mounkes, Topeka, Betty Mounkes, Allen, Wilma Tiepperman, Dodge City, and Doris Hotzel, Wichita; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A son, Johnny Wagner, and a daughter, Linda Jones, died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to Health Care Access, sent in care of the funeral home.
