Wilma McNeely

Mrs. McNeely died Friday, May 2, 2003, at Lakeview Village in Lenexa.

She was born Jan. 13, 1910, in Ottawa, the daughter of James Sheridan and Iva Rosaltha (Taylor) Jackson. She attended schools in the Ottawa area, graduating from Ottawa High School in 1928 and later from Lawrence Business College. She lived in several states before moving to Topeka in 1950 and then to Lenexa in 1977.

Mrs. McNeely worked for Topeka Medical Center for 26 years before she retired in 1977. She was a member of Lenexa United Methodist Church and a former member of Kansas Medical Assistants Society.

She married Harold Hartwell McNeely on May 8, 1930, in Ottawa. He died Oct. 11, 1995.

Survivors include a foster brother, Marion C. Coen, Ottawa, and two nieces.
