Fields Gallery discussion to feature photographers

Area photographers Wally Emerson and Chris Kilmer will discuss their artwork in a gallery talk titled “Divergent Views” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Fields Gallery, 712 Mass.

Emerson’s images of the Haskell-Baker Wetlands celebrate the beauty of one of Lawrence’s most scenic areas.

Kilmer has worked as a photography instructor for Johnson County Community College. His photography covers a wide range of subjects, from downtown scenes to stolen moments of human interaction.

Their talk is the second in a series of discussions the gallery has organized so that artists can share ideas and approaches to their work with the public in an informal setting.

Those interested in attending may call the gallery at 842-7187.
