Students plan rally in support of Dailey

A rally protesting recent attempts to censure Kansas University professor Dennis Dailey for using explicit materials in his class on human sexuality is set for noon Friday in front of Wescoe Hall on the KU campus.

“This is completely student-organized and student-driven,” said Christine Robinson, a 34-year-old graduate student in sociology.

Several students and faculty members are expected to speak during the rally, Robinson said.

“We go as long as people have something to say,” she said. “There’s a lot of interest in this.”
