The third suspect wanted in the March 14 shooting death of Quincy Sanders was caught Friday in Topeka , Lawrence Police said Saturday.

Corey Terrell Robinson, 22, Topeka, is being held in the Douglas County Jail on warrants for second-degree murder and a state parole violation. He was also wanted for a Lawrence municipal warrant for unrelated traffic violations.

Topeka officers called Lawrence detectives about 10 p.m. Friday, saying they had received information that might lead to Robinson. Detectives from both cities set up surveillance at an undisclosed Topeka location and at some point stopped a vehicle and found Robinson inside, Lawrence Lt. Dan Affalter said.

Sanders, 21, was shot near the front door of a duplex at 2603 Ridge Court. Police arrested two men, alleged accomplices of Robinson, in the Kansas City area.

Tremain V. Scott, 21, Topeka, was charged with second-degree murder and is being held in the Douglas County Jail on $500,000 bond. Randy Owens, 27, Topeka, was charged with aiding a felon, obstruction of justice and fleeing a law enforcement officer. He is free on $7,000 bond.
