Oldham services

? Services for Claudette Mary “Teenie” Oldham, 63, Lecompton, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Perry American Legion Post No. 142. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery west of Lecompton.

Mrs. Oldham died Monday, March 17, 2003, at her home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1939, in rural Lawrence, the daughter of Claude L. and Minerva M. (Delgadillo) Myers. She graduated from Lecompton High School in 1957 and from Clark School of Business in Topeka in 1958.

Mrs. Oldham worked 40 years for the state of Kansas, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Kansas University and Kansas Lottery Finance Department until she retired in 2001. She was a member of Lecompton United Methodist Church and was involved in various youth activities in the Perry-Lecompton community.

She married James N. Oldham on Sept. 12, 1959, in Lecompton. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Sharon O’Trimble, Perry, and Suzy Bradley, Olathe; a brother, Claude Myers Jr., Topeka; three sisters, Mary Manis, Topeka, Regina Andrew, Lawrence, and Katherine Flood, Mount Morris, Michigan; and four grandsons.

A son, Jerry Oldham, died in 1994.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the Perry-Lecompton High School baseball program, sent in care of the mortuary.
