Phyllis M. Huff
Services for Phyllis M. Huff, 83, Lawrence, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Additional services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Talbott Funeral Home in Albany, Ky. Burial will be in Irwin Cemetery, Albany.
Mrs. Huff died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 21, 1919, in Spencer, Neb., the daughter of Milton F. and Cora J. (Lee) Snavely. She attended business college in Nebraska.
Mrs. Huff was a secretary and draftsperson for Beecher, Hockenberger & Chambers. She also had worked for Stanoland Gas Co. in Casper, Wyo., a savings and loan company, and in real estate. She belonged to the Methodist Church and was a Rebekah.
She married James Z. Huff on April 10, 1956, in Fayetteville, Ark. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jan Huff Soper, Lenexa.
Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Multiple Sclerosis Society Eastern Kansas Chapter, sent in care of the mortuary.
