Washington ? Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., is in Cuba to promote trade with the United States.

Moore and other supporters of increased trade want American producers to be allowed to sell more food to Cuba.

“It makes sense to push for more commerce with potential trading partners in our own hemisphere,” Moore said in a statement.

The group is a bipartisan, eight-member delegation that left Thursday on a five-day trip.
