Dodge City dumps Pennsylvania

? Alvin Jefferson had 29 points, eight rebounds and a league-record six blocks to lead the Dodge City Legend to a 97-96 overtime victory over the Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs in the United States Basketball League championship Sunday night.

Artie Griffin added 26 points, and postseason MVP Darrin Hancock, a former Kansas University player, had 18 points and six rebounds for the Legend, who won their second USBL title in the first overtime championship game in the league’s 18-year history.
