Davids

Steve and Kathy Davids, Lawrence, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 5 in Building 1 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The couple were married July 7, 1963, in Norfolk, Neb. They moved to Lawrence in 1991. Steve is a maintenance supervisor at Packer Plastics.

Their children are Scott and Jennifer Davids, Ozawkie; Kurt and Katie Davids, Topeka; Paul and Laura Davids, Manhattan; and Kory and Glenda Davids, Lawrence. The couple have seven grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

The couple request no gifts.
