James E. Millholland

Mr. Millholland died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Cook County, Ill., the son of Raymond and Sara Millholland. He attended Broad Ripple High School and Wabash College and graduated from Harvard University.

Mr. Millholland served on a U.S. Navy sub chaser during World War II. Afterward, he worked for 33 years for Western Electric in the purchasing department.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Millholland, Indianapolis; a daughter, Madelyn Millholland, Anchorage, Ala., a brother, Arthur, Kenosha, Wis.; a sister, Mary Leonard, Lawrence, Kan; and his parents.

Leppert & Hensley Mortuary in Indianapolis was in charge of arrangements.
