Betty Lee Salsbury

— Inurnment services for Betty Lee Salsbury, 64, Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wellsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Salsbury died Wednesday, June 16, 2003, at Olathe Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Warrensburg, Mo., the daughter of George and Genevra Hout. She graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1957, and attended classes at the University of Missouri.

Mrs. Salsbury tutored and taught classes on art and sewing. She was a member of Minervian Club and National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

She married Larry House. He died earlier. She married Darrell L. Salsbury on Aug. 5, 1966, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Daniel Salsbury, Rogers, Ariz., a brother, George Hout, Warrensburg, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to General Edward Hand Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
