Redding-Newhouse

Larry and Nomi Redding, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Camin Redding to Ryan Wade Newhouse, both of Missoula, Mont.

The future bride is a 1999 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa, in May 2003.

The future groom is the son of Doris Newhouse, Maryville, Tenn., and Ron Newhouse, Dundee, Mich. He received a bachelor’s degree in literature from Maryville College, Maryville, Tenn., and will attend graduate school at the University of Montana this fall.

The couple plan an Aug. 23 wedding at Ghost Ranch Conference Center in Abiquiu, N.M.

Ramseyer-Winter

Virginia L. Ramseyer, Gardner, and Jeremy S. Winter, Columbia, Mo., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roger and Carroll Ramseyer, Gardner. She is a 1998 graduate of Gardner Edgerton High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2002 from Kansas University. She plans to graduate in July with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan.

The future groom is the son of Gary and Wanda Winter, Columbia, Mo. He is a 1996 graduate of Hallsville High School, Hallsville, Mo. He is studying architecture at KU.

The couple plan a Sept. 27 wedding at Danforth Chapel on KU’s campus.

Brooks-Ingalls

Robert and Robin Brooks, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Beth Brooks to Michael Alan Ingalls, both of Lawrence.

The future bride was home schooled and attended Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor of arts in history and English from Kansas University in 2000. She is a tutor and is employed as the assistant textbook manager at Jayhawk Bookstore.

The future groom is the son of Robert and Barbara Ingalls, Yuma, Colo. He is a 1992 graduate of Yuma High School. He received a bachelor of science in architectural engineering in 1999 and a master’s degree in civil engineering in 2001 from KU. He is an engineering associate in the Bureau of Design with the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The couple plan a July 26 wedding at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship in Lawrence.
