Road rage reported
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of road rage that happened late Wednesday just north of Lawrence.
A 35-year-old Overland Park man said a man in a white Dodge pickup truck began tailgating him after he passed the truck on U.S. Highway 59 north of Lawrence.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the truck then stopped at a stop light near Teepee Junction, where the driver got out and shattered the victim’s windshield.
The angry driver than fled down U.S. Highway 24-40. Damage to the victim’s windshield was estimated at $500.
