Inez F. Mowery

Pratt ? Services for Inez F. Mowery, 78, Pratt, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will be in Iuka Cemetery.

Mrs. Mowery died Monday, June 9, 2003, at St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

She was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Preston, the daughter of Fredrick Charles and Muriel Agnes (Northrup) DeRome.

Mrs. Mowery was a homemaker. She had previously worked at Pratt Airbase, Davies Manufacturing and Casa Loma Motel.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Pratt, and Miami Indian tribe of Oklahoma.

She married James Riley Mowery III on May 23, 1943, in Cunningham. He died May 25, 1997.

Survivors include a son, James Randy Mowery, Lawrence; two daughters, Elaine Norton, Zanesville, Ohio, and Karla Stout, Hutchinson; a sister, Mary Shumway, Pratt; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
