Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 28-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina van valued at $5,400; a black purse, $40; miscellaneous clothing, $400; 65 compact discs, $975; and a pair of bifocal glasses, $300. The theft occurred between 2:45 a.m. May 30 and 4:06 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of New York Street, Lawrence Police said Saturday.
