Scott Michael Radford

Services for Scott Michael Radford, 41, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Radford died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in an airplane crash near Gettysburg, S.D.

He was born July 21, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Ronald R. and Pauline (Skalla) Radford. He moved to Lawrence in 1974.

He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1979 and attended Atchison Area Vo-Tech school. He worked as an installer for Conklin Building Products and formerly owned Allied Body Shop in Lawrence.

He was a member of Mount Oread Aerie No. 309 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a past president of the Luncheon Optimist Club. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Pauline and Max Williams, Topeka; his fiancee, Deanna Wilson, and her four children, Brandon, Christina, Amber and Kaylee Wilson; a brother, Barry Radford, Eudora; a stepbrother, Kevin Williams, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a stepsister, Kelly Brainard, Perry; two stepdaughters, Christy Johnson, Baldwin, and Kaycey Hadl, Dwight; his former wife, Linda Coffmann Radford, Lawrence; and a stepgranddaughter.

The family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Warren- McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the Luncheon Optimist Club Youth Programs, sent in care of Paul Frakes at Emprise Bank, 2435 Iowa, Lawrence 66046.
