Irene Bertha Kennedy

Overbrook ? Services for Irene Bertha Kennedy, 93, Overbrook, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Overbrook. Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.

Mrs. Kennedy died Monday, July 28, 2003, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born March 4, 1910, in Douglas County, the daughter of Ernest and Rosa (Lutz) Kampschroeder.

Mrs. Kennedy was a homemaker. She also was a clerk for Kansas Department of Revenue, Topeka. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Busy Bee Club, Flower Club and Thimble Club.

She married Richard R. Kennedy on June 5, 1935, in Topeka. He died Feb. 29, 1976.

Survivors include two sisters, Violet Kennedy, Topeka, and Alta Walter, Lecompton.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the church, where the family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Thursday.
