Florence Marie Miller

Mrs. Miller died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at Sunset Manor, Waverly.

She was born Nov. 11, 1906, in Ottawa, the daughter of Carl Henry and Minnie Elizabeth (Hawkins) Nebelong. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1924. She lived from 1933 to 1949 in Long Beach, Calif., but otherwise was a lifelong Waverly resident.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Lucky Grange since 1955 and served on the Waverly election board. She also volunteered with the Blood Mobile.

She married George G. Miller on July 3, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo. He died March 23, 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Carl J. Miller, Lawrence, and David W. Miller, Yates Center; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
