Condition reports

  • Billy Chanthalangsy, 11, Lawrence, was released Wednesday from Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. He was taken to the hospital by helicopter Sunday evening after being struck by a car at 31st and Ousdahl streets.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 25-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman reported a burglary and theft that occurred between 8 a.m. June 15 and 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of 24th Street. Among the items taken were a Zenith 25-inch color television valued at $300, a DVD player valued at $100, a bamboo chair valued at $200 and about 100 pieces of women’s clothing valued at $1,200. The total amount taken was valued at $2,220.
