Barbara Bergman

Ms. Bergman died Monday, July 21, 2003, at her home.

She was born Nov. 21, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Mark and Virginia Bergman. She was a graduate of Kansas University, where she received a doctoral degree in biochemistry.

Ms. Bergman was a research scientist at Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes, Denver.

She married Michael Kilduff in 1992 in Denver. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include her parents, Shawnee; one daughter, Alice Kilduff, of the home; one stepdaughter, Caitlin Kilduff, of the home; six sisters, Joanne Bergman, Mary Ellen Kriegh and Jeanette Walther, of Lawrence, Kathleen Reynolds, Merriam, Laura Todd, Overland Park, and Diane Strange, Osceola, Mo.; and four brothers, Bill, Grandview, Mo., Steve, Olathe, and Mark and Greg, both of Shawnee.

The family suggests memorials to the Barbara Davis Center or to the Alice and Caitlin Kilduff scholarship fund, in care of US Bank, 730 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80206.
