To the editor:

I simply can’t understand why your syndicated media critic (Kevin McDonough) has continually failed to recommend simply the best program on TV today (Bill Moyers and his program “NOW,” which airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on KCPT, channel 19 and Sunday at 5 p.m. on KTWU, channel 11). Mr. McDonough is never at a loss with gushing praise for the vapid, mindless, inane drivel that the corporate media calls entertainment. Either this critic is willfully obtuse or in the employ of the same media he professes to criticize. If you are bordering on despair with the current level of television and want to see what TV has the potential of becoming, tune in to “NOW.”
