Emma M. Kos Vertacnik

Mrs. Vertacnik died June 24, 2003.

She was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Indianapolis. She graduated from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in 1946.

Mrs. Vertacnik was a registered nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital and worked for 35 years on the medical staff at Indiana Bell Telephone. She retired in 1988.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, KSKJ and Slovenian National Home.

She married Frank Vertacnik in 1947 in Indianapolis. He died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, David Vertacnik, Lawrence, and Tom Vertacnik, Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
