Allan and Lorene Willits

Allan and Lorene Willits, McLouth, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a luncheon at 1 p.m. July 20 in shelter 1 at Clinton Lake’s Overlook Park. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Allan Willits and Lorene Tate were married July 4, 1953, in McLouth. They have farmed in the rural McLouth area most of their lives.

Hosts for the event will be their children: Larry and Pam Willits, Nancy Willits and Howard Bartlett, Susan Willits and Leo Posch, and Bill Willits, all of McLouth; and Gary and Karen Willits, Oskaloosa. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The couple request no gifts.
