Bessie Elliotte ‘Be’ Jones

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday, July 1, 2003.

She was born June 19, 1925, in Phenix, Va., the daughter of John D. and Lucy (Hancock) Elliotte.

Mrs. Jones worked as an accountant for an insurance company.

Survivors include her husband, Callom B. Jones IV, of the home; two sons, Callom B. Jones V, Overland Park, and Elliotte B. Jones, Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Marion Babb, Lawrence; two sisters, Anne Elliotte and Gaynelle Lilley, both of Stuart’s Draft, Va.; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice.

D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
