Gertrude Olivette Wyrick

Tonganoxie ? Services for Gertrude Olivette Wyrick, 79, Tonganoxie, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Wyrick died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at her home.

She was born Sept. 3, 1923, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of William and Gladys (Baker) Thomas.

She married Albert O. Wyrick on Dec. 25, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include eight sons, Albert O. Wyrick Jr., Kansas City, Kan., Billy Wyrick, Edgerton, James Wyrick, Shiner, Texas, Richard Wyrick, Langdon, N.D., John Wyrick, Independence, Mo., and Floyd Wyrick, Ronald Wyrick and Thomas Wyrick, all of Eudora; seven daughters, Dixie Lattin, DeSoto, Doris Eastlin, Kansas City, Kan., Sharon Beggs, Langdon, N.D., Virginia Wyrick, Lawrence, Margie Wheeler, Independence, Mo., Bonnie Jacobs and Cindy Ramdorsingh, both of Tonganoxie; two brothers, James Thomas, Hutchinson, and Charles Thomas, Bonner Springs; a sister, Margie Sowers, Kansas City, Kan.; 34 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
