Correct history

To the editor,

On Saturday Jan. 18, “2day’s History Journal” wrote: “In 1919, the World War I Peace Congress opened in Versailles, France.” This is a common error. The peace conference took place in Paris, so it is called “The Paris Peace Conference.” The peace treaty with Germany was signed in the main palace, Versailles, so it is known as “The Versailles Treaty.”
