IN 1903

From the Lawrence Daily World of Jan. 21, 1903: “A professional revivalist has just closed a meeting in Ottawa and he said in closing that the newspapers never get things right. Perhaps he has been expecting too much of the newspapers. They have other things to do besides catering to him and his revivalist wants. There is no more reason why he should be coddled by the newspapers than any other business should. And his calling is a business.”
