KU official to appear on KCUR radio show

The associate director of Kansas University’s Center for Research on Learning will be a guest on a KCUR radio program Wednesday.

Jean Schumaker will discuss ways to overcome barriers to productivity in school and the workplace on “Up To Date.” Other guests will be Mel Levine, author of The Myth of Laziness, and Sheryl Kennedy, executive director of the Horizon Academy, a school for children with learning disabilities.

The show, whose host is Steve Kraske, airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on KCUR, 89.3 FM.
