Kenneth C. McMillian

DeSoto ? Services for Kenneth C. McMillian, 79, DeSoto, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church of DeSoto. Burial will be in DeSoto Cemetery.

Mr. McMillian died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, in Linwood.

He was born Oct., 26, 1923, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Barney and Stella McMillian.

He retired from Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in the late 1970s and was active in the United Methodist Church.

His wife, Maxine McMillian, died earlier.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Shumaker, Linwood, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in DeSoto.

The family suggests memorial to Douglas County Hospice, 200 Maine, Lawrence 66044.
