Transit: Swim meet to alter Lawrence bus routes

Lawrence Transit System will reroute buses today during the swim meet at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive.

Travel will temporarily be suspended down the access road to the front door of the Indoor Aquatic Center, helping buses avoid the nearly 900 visitors and their vehicles.

People who board the bus from the Indoor Aquatic Center will need to walk south of the center to Overland Drive. Transit drivers can provide detailed information about the reroute to riders. For more information on routes and schedules, call 312-7054.
