Jones-Drummond

Casse Jones, Lawrence, and Matthew Drummond, Winchester, were married June 1, 2002, at the home of Richard Jones, Lawrence, with Judge Mike Malone officiating.

The bride’s parents are Glenna Jones, Lawrence, and Richard Jones, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Dave and Irene Drummond, Winchester, and Fran Houlihan, Dover, N.H.

Maid of honor was Erika Jones. Bridesmaid was Jennifer Brunton. Best man was Jeff Gibbs. Groomsman was Christine McAuliffe.

Flower girl was Courtney Gibbs. Ring bearers were Michael McAuliffe and Devon McAuliffe. Patrick Johnson, Steve Schneider and Grant Eastridge were ushers. Caitlin Johnson and Tyea Beery were guest book attendants. Barb Meints and Sande Carpenter were cake cutters.

A reception at Knights of Columbus followed the ceremony.

The bride graduated from Lawrence High School in 1992. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 1996 from Pittsburg State University. She received a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy in 2000 from Kansas University and in 2001 a masters of science degree in special education with an emphasis in autism and Asperger Syndrome. She is an occupational therapist in the DeSoto school district.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Jefferson County North High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in technology in 1998 from Pittsburg State University. He is an admissions representative at DeVry University.

The couple live in Shawnee.

Fuhrmann-Bisel

Adele Christiane Fuhrmann and Ryan Scott Bisel, both of Lawrence, were married July 20, 2002, at Lawrence Heights Christian Church with the Rev. James Taylor officiating.

The bride’s parents are Mike and Julie Fuhrmann, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Ron and Deanna Bisel, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Cara Fuhrmann. Bridesmaids were Katrina Chambers, Sheila Black and Kristi Burgess. The best man was Frank Boyd. Groomsmen were Garon Ferreira, Nick Dixon and Tom Burgess.

Ushers were Gabe Egli, Tobias Goostree and Travis Walker. Stephanie Schmidt and Christa Jones were guest book and gift table attendants.

A reception at Lawrence Country Club followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 1998 Lawrence High School graduate. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education in 2002 from Kansas State University.

The groom is a 1998 Free State High School graduate. He earned a degree in organizational communication in 2002 from William Jewell College. He is a business manager for Digital Sound Systems, Lenexa.

The couple live in Eudora.

Nunemaker-Neitzel

Krystale Nunemaker, Lawrence, and Lowell Neitzel, St. Francis, were married Sept. 7, 2002, at Bismarck Lake with Ed Collister officiating.

The bride’s parents are Kent and Debbie Nunemaker, Lawrence. The groom is the son of LeRoy Neitzel, St. Francis, and Lynn Ferguson, Holyoke, Colo.

Matron of honor was Virginia Sutton. Maid of honor was Karen Ross. Bridesmaids were Candice Lavette, Emily Frank, Lindsey Neitzel and Jake Montney. Best man was Donald Schlittenhardt. Groomsmen were Dustin Weeden, Tadd Neitzel, Cole Carpenter, Dusty Pilger and Lyle Nunemaker.

Ushers were Pat Harding, Luke Bortner and Casey Goddard.

Flower girls were Echo Jones and Dallas Reed.

Guest book and gift table attendant was Erinn Morray.

The bride is a 2000 Free State High School graduate. She attended Colby Community College and works at Regional Veterinary Service in Oswego.

The groom is a 1999 St. Francis High School graduate and a 2001 graduate of Colby Community College. He works at Bartlett Co-op in Bartlett.

The couple live in Oswego.
