Dressed in her finest clothes, Sarah Showalter, 8, adjusts her hat while she waits for other party guests to arrive at the annual children’s tea party at the Lawrence Public Library. Friday’s party included treats and entertainment from members of the Plymouth Congregational Church bell ringers choir. Sarah attended the party to sweeten both her palate and her manners.
