The future bride is a 1998 Lawrence High School graduate. She works at Lawrence Orthopaedic Surgery.

The future groom is the son of Robin Lyman, Blue Springs, Mo., and Doug and Candie Rice, Basehor. He works at Laird Noller in Lawrence.

The couple plan a Jan. 18, 2003, wedding at Danforth Chapel, KU campus.

The future bride is the daughter of Tom and Marilyn Noonan, Baldwin. She is a Baldwin High School graduate and attends Pittsburg State University.

The future groom is the son of Ken Nelson, Topeka, and Greg and Patti Whitworth, Carbondale. He attends Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla.
