Unranked OSU stuns Arkansas

? Meghan Craig scored the winning basket as time expired, giving Oklahoma State a 60-58 victory against ninth-ranked Arkansas on Thursday night.

Lori Allen had 14 points and nine rebounds to lead the Cowgirls (4-7). Trisha Skibbe and Craig each added 12 points.

Shameka Christon scored 17 and Dana Cherry had 16 to lead Arkansas (10-2).

The Razorbacks missed several chances to pull away, leaving the door open for Oklahoma State. Christon blocked a shot out of bounds with 1.9 seconds left.

“I just had to get it out of my mind that it was the game-winning shot and just shoot the ball,” Craig said.

No. 8 Texas Tech 94, Rutgers 81

Lubbock, Texas — Plenette Pierson matched her career high with 31 points and also had 17 rebounds as Texas Tech won its 10th straight. Natalie Ritchie added 18 points and Cisti Greenwalt 14 for the Raiders (10-1). Cappie Pondexter scored 29 to lead Rutgers (6-3).

No. 17 Texas 64, A&M-Corpus Christi 37

Austin, Texas — Heather Schreiber had 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead Texas. Stacy Stephens added 14 points and 11 rebounds for UT (7-3). Texas led just 27-24 at the half, shooting just 39 percent. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (6-6) stayed close by shooting 44 percent.

No. 25 Colorado 76, Buffalo 47

Amherst, N.Y. — Kate Fagan and Randie Wirt each scored 15 points as Colorado won its seventh straight. Colorado (10-1) took control from the opening tip, scoring the first nine points. The Buffaloes led 25-6 with 6:51 to go in the first half.

Kate McMeeken-Ruscoe had 15 points to lead Buffalo (7-2), which had its five-game winning streak snapped.

Missouri 73, Ind.-Pur.-Indpls. 45

Columbia, Mo. — Tracy Lozier scored 17 points and Kerensa Barr and LaToya Bond each had 11 as Missouri defeated Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis.

Missouri went on a 12-0 run early in the second half and held IUPUI scoreless for eight minutes to take a 57-33 lead with 11:56 left. Missouri made 14-of-15 free throws and forced 32 IUPUI turnovers.

The Jaguars shot just 18 percent in the second half after staying close for much of the first half. MU outscored the Jaguars 35-16 in the second half.

Tiffany Kyser and Brooke McAfee led the Jaguars with 10 points each.
