FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. ? Kansas University junior Leo Bookman finished fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 20.77 Friday at the Tyson Invitational, qualifying for the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships.

Also Friday, sophomore Lauren Brownrigg won the 3,000-meter race, sophomore Megan Manthe won the mile and freshman Yvonne Calzonetti placed second in the pole vault.

Jayhawk sophomore Brandon Hodges placed second in the 800-meter race and freshman Benson Chesang placed second in the 5,000 meters.

The competition ended Saturday, where the Jayhawks competed in just one event. The KU men’s distance medley team finished in fifth place.
