Sherry Bohl, wife of Kansas University athletic director Al Bohl, has resigned from the board of at least one Lawrence charitable organization.

She wouldn’t say which organization, but did tell Cable Six she and her husband “would not be leaving Lawrence.”

The Journal-World has learned Mrs. Bohl resigned from the board of the Ballard Community Center, a multi-service agency that provides emergency food, rent, utility assistance and child care.
