VH1 repeats Michael Jackson interview

If you missed Michael Jackson’s 90-minute career killer Thursday on ABC, you’re in luck, reports TV Guide Online.

VH1 will rebroadcast the British documentary “Living With Michael Jackson” at 8 p.m. Saturday, 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 p.m. Monday. VH1 is Sunflower Broadband Channel 58.

Meanwhile, Fox has agreed to air outtakes the singer selected from his controversial interview with Martin Bashir. A two-hour special, tentatively titled “Michael Jackson, Take Two: The Interview They Wouldn’t Show You,” is scheduled to air Feb. 20.

A Jackson publicist said the clips “clearly (show) that Bashir was actually continuing to praise Michael’s abilities as a father and Bashir making many statements about how he feels it is a pity that the world is so quick to criticize Michael.”

In another development, members of a Los Angeles youth group, fearing that Jackson will kill himself because of the documentary, were to conduct a prayer vigil Tuesday.

Some 200 teens planned to take part in the vigil at Jackson’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, hoping to inspire people around the world to pray for the onetime “King of Pop” amid revelations that he sleeps with young boys, said Alex Poe, director of Right Way Youth Activities Inc.

“We are convinced that he is on the verge of suicide right now,” Poe said. “After watching this documentary … the kids themselves encouraged me. They said: ‘Mr. Poe, the only thing we can do is pray.”‘
