Leon Fliginger

? Services for Leon Fliginger, 63, Sterling, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Bible Church in Hutchinson. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Sterling.

Mr. Fliginger died Feb. 2, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 16, 1939, in Rice County, the son of Pleman and Valeda (Zimmerman) Fliginger. He had been a longtime resident of Sterling.

Mr. Fliginger was a retired rancher, quarter horse trainer and Walnut Township road maintenance operator.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Mann, Lawrence; his parents, Plevna; five sisters, Sandra Blasdel, McPherson, Diane Balding and Vanessa Foster, both of Kansas City, Kan., Sheryl Benton, Plevna, and Marsha Drouhard, Hutchinson; and a grandchild.

A son, Tony Allen, died earlier.
