Have a question for the school board candidates?

The first in a series of online chats, featuring several of those running in the Feb. 25 Lawrence school board primary, is now underway on this Web site.

Scott Morgan, who is running for a second four-year term on Lawrence’s school board, will be the first guest in the series.

During the chat, a moderator will field questions submitted live from those participating in the chat and Morgan will post his responses live.

Morgan will also respond to questions that have been submitted earlier by e-mail. (Submit a question by e-mail. )

Following the chat, a transcript of the questions and responses will be posted on this site.

Morgan is among 13 candidates running in the school board primary. Several of them have agreed to participate in online chats at the following times and dates:

• Gordon Longabach, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
• Michael Pomes, 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
• Eddie Lehman, 6:30 p.m. Monday.
• Mary Loveland, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20.
