Lack of depth caught up with both of Haskell Indian Nations University's basketball teams on Friday night.
Bellevue University defeated HINU's men, 109-56, at Bellevue, Neb. The Fightin' Indians had just eight players available.
The Bruins sank 14-of-22 from three-point range and made 63.6 percent of its shots overall. Bellevue also had 25 steals and scored 33 points off turnovers.
Corey Ladson led Haskell with 15 points. Allen Knows Gun had 13, and Leroy Silva had 12.
At Omaha, Neb., Haskell's women led 35-30 at halftime but fell short in a 65-61 loss to College of Saint Mary.
HINU had just seven players available for the game. Melissa Mosset led Haskell with 21 points. Kateri Schaaf had 18 points, and Mellissa Catron added 16.
Haskell plays today at Peru State.
